CDL-A OTR Dry Van Driver — Dedicated Lane, Bi-Weekly Home Time

Swift Transportation needs a CDL-A driver out of Denver, CO for a dedicated dry van account running through the Central US. You'll haul steady, predictable freight for a big box customer and get home every other week.

Pay

• Average weekly pay of $1,600

• $0.50 per mile trip pay, based on dispatched miles and your route/experience

• $15 stop pay

• Driver performance bonus

• Starting July 13, 2026, new OTR company drivers get a guaranteed minimum of $1,000 per week for their first 90 days solo (terms apply, ask a recruiter for details)

• Vacation pay starts at $800 after one year on the job

Home time

• Home every two weeks

What you'll haul

• Dry van freight on a dedicated lane for a large retail customer, with consistent and predictable loads

• Route runs through the Central US

• Access to Swift's newly expanded fuel network and free shower facilities

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL; new drivers are welcome, training provided

• At least 21 years old

• Strong backing skills needed

• Night driving is part of the job

• No DUI in the past 10 years for CDL-A holders (5 years for non-CDL-A)

• No more than one preventable on-road or DOT loss in the last 2 years, and no more than 3 preventable accidents in that span

• No major preventable accidents in the last 5 years

• No serious traffic violations in the past year, and no more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years

• Must pass a DOT physical and drug screening

• No drug-related conviction in the last 5 years, and no illegal drug use or positive/refused tests in the past 10 years as a CDL-A or CLP holder
