CDL-A OTR Dry Van Driver — $0.50–$0.73 per Mile

Swift Transportation's Sparks, NV terminal is looking for over-the-road drivers based out of Austin, Nevada, hauling dry van freight across the country with a mix of lane options.

Pay

• Trip pay runs between $0.50 and $0.73 per mile, based on dispatched miles, your route and your experience level

• Drivers in the top 25% at the Sparks terminal bring home about $1,600 a week

• New dry van, reefer and flatbed OTR company drivers are covered by a Guaranteed Pay+ program promising at least $1,000 for a week of solo driving (ask a recruiter for the fine print)

• You're paid every week, and there's a monthly bonus tied to performance

Home time

• Plan on getting home about once a month

What you'll haul

• Dry van freight on OTR runs, with access to more than 30 terminals across 25 states

Requirements

• You need to be 21 or older with a valid Class A license

• Your record needs to be clean: no DUI in the past 10 years (5 years if you don't hold a CDL-A), no more than one preventable on-road/DOT loss in the last 2 years, no more than 3 preventable accidents in 2 years, nothing major in the last 5

• No serious traffic violations in the past year, and no more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years

• You'll need to pass a DOT physical and drug screen, with no drug conviction in the last 5 years and no positive or refused tests in the past 10
