About this job
Our company is looking for a CDL-A driver to run over-the-road dry van and refrigerated freight, with 70% drop and hook loads available from both terminals. You'll handle long-distance hauls while keeping cargo safe from pickup to delivery.
Pay
- $1,500 to $1,800 per week
What you'll haul
- Dry van and refrigerated (reefer) trailers
- 70% drop and hook freight from both terminals
What you'll do
- Run OTR routes on your assigned schedule
- Check your tractor-trailer and trailer before and during trips, keeping an eye on cargo conditions
- Load, unload and secure freight safely by hand when needed
- Navigate with GPS and keep dispatch updated on any route or delivery problems
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL, able to drive a tractor-trailer including manual transmission where applicable
- Understanding of DOT and FMCSA rules
- Delivery experience and reefer freight familiarity are a plus, not required
