About this job
Our company is looking for new CDL-A grads to join a paid mentor program that leads into solo OTR driving. No professional driving experience is needed, just your Class A CDL from an accredited school.
Pay and training
- Four to six weeks of paid training riding with an experienced mentor driver
- Once training wraps up, you move into your own truck and can earn $1,600-$1,800 per week
- Paid weekly by direct deposit
- Full benefits kick in once training is complete
What the mentor program covers
Your mentor will walk you through the parts of the job that CDL school doesn't cover, such as:
- Planning trips and driving safely
- Handling pickups and deliveries
- Doing pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Staying in touch with dispatch
- Managing the daily routine of OTR driving
After you finish the program, you'll be set up with your own truck and start running solo.
Requirements
- Current Class A CDL
- Graduated from an accredited CDL school
- Clean driving record
- Meets DOT qualification standards
- Dependable, safety-minded, and open to learning from your mentor
