CDL-A OTR Driver, No Experience Needed — Home Every 2 Weeks

This OTR regional role out of Columbus, GA puts new CDL-A drivers through paid mentor training, then into a new automatic Freightliner Cascadia for ongoing runs. No prior experience is required.

Pay

• Training: $650/week for 4-6 weeks, plus a $300 bonus when orientation is complete

• After training: $0.55-$0.65 per mile, running 2,500-3,000 miles/week

• Typical earnings: $1,200-$1,400/week ($62,400-$72,800/year)

• With experience: $1,300-$1,600/week ($67,600-$83,200/year)

• Sign-on bonus of $2,000, paid as $1,000 at 30 days and $1,000 at 90 days

• Weekly direct deposit

Home time

You'll get two full days at home every two weeks.

What you'll haul

• Dry van and reefer freight

• 100% no-touch

• Mix of live loads and drop-and-hook

Training

Orientation takes place at the Atlanta, GA terminal, with transportation, meals and hotel provided. You'll train alongside an experienced mentor driver.

What the job involves

• Driving safely over the road and completing pre- and post-trip inspections

• Delivering freight on time and handling it with care

• Keeping accurate ELD logs and staying in touch with dispatch

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A

• At least 21 years old

• Live in or near Columbus, GA or Phenix City, AL

• Clean driving and background record

• Pass a hair follicle and urine drug screen

• Pass DOT pre-employment screening

• Registered with the FMCSA Clearinghouse
