About this job
Our company is looking for a CDL-A driver to run a steady dedicated route between Fort Worth, TX and Randolph, NJ. This is a 1099 position with weekly pay and bonus pay for extra stops.
Pay
- $1,800-$2,000+ per round trip (pay listed elsewhere as $1,800.00-$2,000.00 per week)
- Paid weekly, one week behind
- Extra stops beyond the standard pickup/delivery pay more on top
- 1099 position
- Company covers tolls and provides a fuel card
Route and freight
- Dedicated loop: Fort Worth, TX to Randolph, NJ and back
- Mostly drop and hook freight
- Consistent, repeat lane rather than random dispatch
- Based out of Fort Worth, TX
What the job involves
- Driving a Class A truck safely on this OTR lane
- Hitting pickup and delivery times as scheduled
- Doing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks
- Keeping BOLs and delivery paperwork accurate
- Updating dispatch on ETA, delays, or any load issues
- Following DOT and FMCSA safety rules along with company policy
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- At least 2 years of CDL-A driving experience
- Clean driving record
- OTR experience is a plus
- Willing and able to run the Texas-New Jersey route regularly
- Stays in regular contact with dispatch
- Meets all DOT qualification standards
