CDL-A OTR Driver — $33.00/hr Delivering Snack Brands

Drive a tractor-trailer for our company in Houston, TX, delivering snack brands like Lay's, Doritos, and Cheetos to grocery stores and other locations. Your schedule, start time, and end time vary with business needs, and the role includes hands-on loading and delivery work along with driving.

Pay

• $33.00 hourly

• Must be willing to work holidays and weekends

• Shifts can run up to 14 hours, with up to 11 hours of actual driving

What you'll haul

• Chips, dips, and other snack products

• Deliveries to large grocery stores, Frito-Lay plants, rural storage sites, and other distribution points

What you'll do

• Operate a tractor-trailer safely and legally under Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations

• Load and unload freight by hand, using pallet equipment or a two-wheeler, including lifting items overhead

• Get signatures for deliveries, handle product returns, and manage delivery paperwork and invoices

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and log activity using an electronic device such as a tablet or onboard computer

• Stay in contact with dispatch, sales drivers, and customers during your shift

Requirements

• At least 21 years old

• Valid Class A commercial driver's license

• 100,000+ accident-free miles driven, or more than 2,500 accident-free hours

• Able to work holidays and weekends

• Able to lift, carry, push, and pull 15 to 50 pounds, with or without accommodation

• Able to stand and walk for long stretches, and sit for up to 5 hours a day, with or without accommodation

• Able to drive up to 11 hours daily and work shifts up to 14 hours, with or without accommodation
