CDL-A OTR Driver — $32/hr With 11-Hour Daily Guarantee

Our company is hiring CDL-A over-the-road drivers out of Louisville, KY to run 53ft dry van no-touch freight. You are paid by the hour for shift time rather than chasing miles, with a guaranteed minimum each day.

Pay

• $32 per hour for all shift hours, whether you are on duty or driving

• Guarantee of 11 hrs per day

• Sleeper berth time is paid too, so a day can reach 16 paid hrs ($512)

• A full 70hr cycle comes to $2,240, and the $325 bonus is paid on each 34hr reset

• Up to $2,888 a week: that is 6 days of 14hrs plus a $200 bonus, before any paid sleeper berth

• Guaranteed minimums: 5 days out pays $1,760 for 55 hrs (home 2 days); 6 days out pays $2,112 for 66 hrs (home 1 day); 7 days out pays $2,440 for 70 hrs plus a $200 bonus

What you'll haul

• 53ft dry van, no-touch freight

• About half drop and hook, half live load/unload

• 2023 or newer trucks, with Pilot / Flying J and Cat Scale accounts

• You work with a real dispatcher; there is no AI dispatch

What the guarantee expects from you

• Stay within DOT compliance

• If you still have hours left in a day and dispatch has a load that fits, you run it; ending a shift many hours early needs a good reason and dispatch approval

• If parking could be a problem, a resource is available to help you find it

• Report every arrival, departure and delay, and update status every 30-45 minutes while loading or unloading

• Record pre-trip videos and finish post-trips so the next day starts smoothly

• Make your appointments on time unless something outside your control stops you

Requirements

• At least 2 years of CDL A experience

• Clean driving record

• Clean 10-year FBI background check
