CDL-A OTR Driver — $2,200–$2,800/Week

Our company is hiring a reliable CDL-A driver for OTR work out of Houston, TX. You'll begin on contract freight, and after a few weeks of solid, safe performance, you may move into a dedicated drop-and-hook lane with higher earning potential. This is a 1099 independent contractor role.

Pay

• $2,200.00 - $2,800.00 per week, with room to earn more depending on your work ethic, performance and freight availability

• Independent contractor (1099) position

What you'll do

• Drive and handle a Class A commercial vehicle safely

• Pick up and drop off loads on schedule, hitting your appointment windows

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and flag any equipment problems right away

• Keep your logs and trip paperwork accurate and current

• Stay in touch with dispatch on load status, delays and delivery progress

• Follow DOT rules, hours-of-service limits and safe driving habits

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• At least two years of commercial driving experience

• Clean driving record

• Comfortable backing, parking and handling a tractor-trailer

• Good time management and communication

• Punctual, dependable and ready to work

• Able to run OTR routes on your own
