About this job
Our company needs a CDL Class A driver for their 26-foot box truck, running OTR routes across the United States. This is full-time work for someone ready to spend extended stretches on the road.
Pay
- Starts at 25% and goes up to 30%
- $1,250.00 to $2,000.00 per week
Home time
Home time isn't set in advance - it gets worked out when you interview.
What you'll haul
You'll run a 26' box truck on nationwide OTR routes, picking up and delivering freight on schedule, loading and securing it properly, and keeping both the truck and cargo in good shape.
Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A
- Clean driving record
- Commercial and OTR driving experience are preferred, not required
- Able to stay out on the road for extended stretches
- Dependable, punctual and safety-conscious
- Comfortable keeping dispatch and customers updated
- Must clear DOT screening and meet company standards
What you'll do
Beyond driving, you'll handle pre- and post-trip inspections, keep your paperwork accurate, follow DOT and FMCSA rules, and stay professional with dispatch, customers and brokers.
