About this job
Our company Services, part of PF Holdings, is looking for a CDL-A driver to move oilfield materials and equipment between well sites across several states. You'll handle multi-day runs hauling oversize and overweight loads for hydraulic fracturing operations in regions like the Permian Basin.
What you'll haul
- Oversize and overweight oilfield equipment and materials
- Loads requiring winch trucks and trailers
- Some unloading duties using a forklift
What you'll do
- Drive between well-site locations in multiple states, including overnight trips
- Complete pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and file condition reports
- Verify shipping paperwork against the load
- Keep accurate logs of duty status and mileage per DOT rules
- Flag any accidents, hazards, or delays right away
- Follow all federal, state and company safety rules
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- 1-2 years of commercial driving experience plus a training school certificate, or 3-5 years preferred
- Hands-on experience with oversize/overweight loads and oilfield winch trucks and trailers
- At least a year running a forklift
- Comfortable being away from home for several days at a stretch
- Able to lift, carry, and push up to 75 pounds and perform related physical tasks
- English literacy, high school diploma or GED
- Must pass DOT medical exam and drug/alcohol screening
