About this job
Our company runs a paid mentor program for new CDL-A grads who want to break into OTR trucking. You'll ride with an experienced driver for four to six weeks before stepping into your own truck to run solo. No prior professional driving experience needed.
Pay
- Mentor program is paid for the full four to six weeks
- Once you're solo, you can earn $1,600-$1,800 per week
- Paid weekly by direct deposit
- Full benefits kick in after you finish training
Training
An experienced driver will show you the ropes beyond what CDL school taught you, including trip planning and safe driving habits, how to handle pickups and deliveries, pre-trip and post-trip inspections, talking with dispatch, and the day-to-day rhythm of OTR work. Once you're through the program, you move into your own truck and start driving solo.
Requirements
- Current Class A CDL
- Graduated from an accredited CDL school
- Clean driving record
- Meets DOT qualification standards
- Dependable, safety-minded, and open to learning from a mentor
