About this job
Our company is hiring a local CDL-A warehouse/delivery driver out of Walpole, MA. You'll deliver Mohawk flooring products to retail centers, warehouses, distribution centers and job sites across New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut, with regular daytime hours and a loading/unloading component.
Pay
- $28.00 per hour
- $6,000 sign-on bonus, paid in three installments: $2,000 at 90 days, $2,000 at 6 months, and $2,000 at 1 year
- Any unpaid bonus installments are forfeited if you leave before completing your first year
- Weekly pay is expected to average $1,400 to $1,600, though your actual base pay depends on individual factors and may be just one part of a broader pay package that can include bonuses or incentives
Schedule and home time
- Monday through Friday, starting around 6:00 am
- Flexible scheduling is required
- Home every evening and on weekends, with steady, year-round work
What you'll haul
- Mohawk flooring products, delivered by truck to retail centers, warehouses, distribution centers, and job sites
Requirements
- Minimum age 23
- Valid Class A CDL
- At least 6 months of commercial driving experience
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Able to operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move heavy product
