CDL-A Local Truck Driver — Home Daily, $1,500–$1,600/Week

Our company needs CDL-A local drivers to run overnight parts-and-equipment deliveries within 250 miles of Kansas City, MO. You'll be home every day, with weekends off from Saturday morning through Monday night.

Pay

• Mileage rate: $0.44 per mile to start, moving up to $0.45 per mile after 12 months

• Per-stop pay: $15.80 to start, rising to $16.27 after 12 months

• Load-hours rate: $25.00 per hour to start, increasing to $25.75 per hour after 12 months

• Typical weekly earnings run about $1,500 - $1,600, with estimated annual pay near $83,000

• New hires get a $500 bonus on their second paycheck

• Expect roughly 260 miles driven per day

Home time

• Overnight shifts, running roughly 10:00 PM to 10:00 AM

• Monday through Friday nights

• Home every day, with time off from Saturday morning to Monday night

• Local routes only, no multi-day runs away from home

What you'll haul

• Parts and equipment delivered to customers around Missouri and Kansas, within 250 miles of Kansas City, MO

• This is fully touch freight, so you'll load and unload by hand

• Pallet jacks are supplied, and forklift training is available if you're not already certified

• You'll mainly drive a 53-foot tractor-trailer, though a straight truck or sprinter van may be used occasionally

Requirements

• Active Class A CDL

• At least 12 months of recent experience driving a tractor-trailer

• Able to repeatedly handle freight in the 40-75 lb range

• Ready for overnight hours and physical loading work

• No pets or riders permitted in the truck

• Parking at the company lot is required
