CDL-A Local Truck Driver — Home Daily, $1,440+/Week

Our company needs a CDL-A driver in Brookshire, TX for a local, home-daily route hauling no-touch furniture freight in dry vans. Drivers on this account typically bring home $1,440 or more per week.

Pay

• Weekly paychecks

• Solo mileage rate: $0.678 per mile, based on roughly 1,900 miles a week

• Stop pay: $20.00 per stop, roughly 5 stops a week

• Loyalty bonus of $5,000 paid out over 6 months

• Paid training

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, with occasional Sunday work if needed

• Shifts start somewhere between 5:00 PM and 2:00 AM depending on the load

What you'll haul

• Solo runs to surrounding areas, returning home every day

• Day cab tractor pulling 28' and 53' dry van trailers

• Furniture freight, no-touch

• Doubles experience and endorsement required at the time of interview

• Trucks are 36 months old or newer, with 24/7 roadside maintenance support and access to over 800 maintenance facilities nationwide for fueling

Requirements

• At least 21 years old

• Able to pass our company's drug screening, background check, motor vehicle review, and DOT physical

• Clean drug and alcohol verification from past employers covering the last 3 years

• Able to pass a our company road test

• Valid Class A license with required endorsements

• Verifiable tractor-trailer experience: 9 months in the last 3 years, OR 2 years in the last 5 years, OR 5 years in the last 10 years

• Comfortable following written and spoken instructions and applying relevant rules and procedures

• Some assignments may involve extra screening such as employment/education checks or customer badging requirements

On the job, you'll keep accurate logs, follow safety and compliance rules, watch for and reduce hazards, and help load or unload freight if the customer requires it.
