CDL-A Local Truck Driver — $31/hr, Home Daily

Our company is hiring CDL-A drivers for local routes around Houston, TX. You'll run freight within a 250-mile radius, get home every day, and work up to 50 hours a week on steady, year-round loads.

Pay

• $31.00 per hour

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience holding a valid CDL-A

• Clean MVR/PSP and a passed criminal background check

• Able to climb in and out of the truck using three points of contact

• Able to get onto the catwalk behind the cab and stay steady while hooking up the trailer

• Able to bend down to release the fifth-wheel lock, which puts strain on the lower back

• Able to turn the landing gear crank using your arms, legs and back

• Able to bend and reach under the trailer to check that the pin is locked into the fifth wheel

• Able to sit and drive for at least 4 hours straight without stopping
