CDL-A Local Truck Driver — $250–$280/Day

Our company, a tree service company, needs a CDL-A driver for local work. You will handle flatbeds, dump trucks and roll-off trucks to support the crew.

Pay

• $250.00 to $280.00 per day, based on experience

• This is a 1099 contract position, not an employee role

Schedule

• Local routes only

• You must be able to work Saturdays

• You should live within 15 miles of the job location

What you'll haul

• Drive flatbeds, dump trucks (including a medium-sized dump truck) and roll-off trucks

• Load and unload cargo, using mini-bobcats or other equipment when needed

• Follow set routes and stay within traffic laws

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL, which you must bring to your interview

• At least 1 year of driving experience

• Comfortable driving a manual 5-speed truck

• Able to complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks

• Keep accurate logs of deliveries, pickups and mileage

• Stay in contact with dispatch and the team to coordinate schedules

• Follow all safety procedures
