CDL-A Local Truck Driver — $1,625–$1,900/wk, No-Touch Freight

This CDL-A role is based out of Ontario, CA and is mostly local work, with the occasional overnight away from home. You'll run drop-and-hook freight that's 100% no-touch, and the position is set up as a 1099 contractor arrangement.

Pay

• $1,625.00 - $1,900.00 per week

Home time

• Mostly local routes with an occasional one-night layover

What you'll haul

• Freight varies by assignment and may include automobile transportation, refrigerated loads, flatbed cargo, tanker loads, or dangerous goods

• Loads are drop-and-hook, no-touch

What you'll do

• Operate a tractor-trailer on local delivery routes and occasional OTR runs

• Plan trips using GPS, inspect your vehicle and cargo before each trip

• Follow DOT and FMCSA rules at all times

• Complete trip and delivery paperwork

• Load or unload freight, or oversee the process, when needed

• Transport hazardous materials only if you hold the required endorsement

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL with manual transmission skills

• Prior experience driving commercial trucks or making deliveries (delivery background a plus)

• Working knowledge of DOT/FMCSA rules and safe freight handling

• Comfortable with manual loading and unloading tasks

• Experience with reefer, auto-hauling, flatbed, tanker, or hazmat equipment is a plus, and you'll need endorsements that match whatever you're assigned to haul
