CDL-A Local Tanker Driver — Home Daily, Average $1,730/Week

Our company needs an experienced CDL-A tanker driver for a local chemical hauling route based in Channelview, TX. You'll run a set schedule and be home every day, with strong hourly pay plus a sign-on bonus.

Pay

• Average $1,730 per week, with annual earnings over $90,000

• Paid hourly with overtime after 40 hours

• $3,000 sign-on bonus

• Quarterly performance bonus

• Referral incentive for bringing in other drivers

Home time

• Local routes with daily home time

• Fixed schedule, with a night shift option

• Rotating days: 5 on/2 off, then 5 on/3 off

• Shift runs 4:00 PM to 4:00 AM

What you'll haul

• Chemical products in tractor-trailer tankers, picked up and delivered to regular, assigned customers

• Trucks use a 10-speed manual transmission

• Fleet equipment averages about 2 years old

• All loads follow DOT, hazmat and chemical handling safety rules

Requirements

• Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements

• TWIC card

• At least 1 year of recent experience hauling chemicals in a tractor-trailer tanker

• Comfortable driving a 10-speed manual

• Minimum age 23

• Must pass a DOT physical

• No more than 2 violations on your MVR in the past 3 years

• No major accidents in the past 3 years

• No DUI or DWI in the past 5 years
