About this job
Our company is a FedEx Ground contractor running linehaul routes out of the Dallas-Fort Worth hub. You'll handle drop and hook freight on routes that often run to a single destination, with night runs that help you dodge traffic, and you'll be back home every day.
Pay
- Current drivers earn $1,200.00 - $2,500.00 per week, paid weekly
- On-call/contingency drivers are paid a premium for their availability
Schedule and home time
- Home daily
- Runs currently operate at night
- Full-time and part-time positions open
- On-call or contingency roles available, suited to retirees or anyone who can take a run on short notice
- Be ready to work weekends if the schedule calls for it
What you'll haul
- Drop and hook freight, no-touch
- Many lanes go to just one destination, keeping deliveries simple
- Most trucks have sleepers, giving drivers flexibility to pace their trip home safely
Requirements
- Class A CDL required
- At least 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience in the last 3 years, or 5 years in the last 10
- Doubles/Triples endorsement preferred (or willingness to obtain one)
- Clean driving record
- Must pass a federal background check and drug test
- DOT medical card must be attached to your CDL
- Prior experience with FedEx Ground is a plus
