CDL-A Local Flatbed Yard Driver — Home Daily, $27.00/hr

Our company needs a dependable CDL-A driver to run shuttle routes between their McDonough, GA facility and Hampton, GA, handling open-deck trailers that come pre-loaded. You'll be home every night with a steady, predictable schedule.

What you'll haul

• Shuttle pre-loaded open-deck (flatbed) trailers between Hampton, GA and the metro Atlanta area

• Strap, chain, bind and tarp cargo to keep it secure

• Pass Bills of Lading to customers and Bennett staff

• Help keep the yard organized and manage trailers during your shift

• Pitch in on other trailer and yard tasks as needed

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional longer days

• About one Saturday out of every four, 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM, when the work requires it

Pay

• $27.00 per hour base pay

• Overtime paid on qualifying hours

• Weekly wage range of $1080.00 to $1687.00

Home time

• Home every night, with no overnight trips or long-haul runs

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A

• Hands-on experience with open-deck or flatbed trailers

• Solid understanding of how to secure loads with chains, straps, binders and tarps

• Willingness to handle local yard and shuttle driving

• Able to read and handle Bill of Lading paperwork

• Punctual, reliable and a good fit for a team environment

• Clean driving record preferred
