CDL-A Local Flatbed Driver — Home Every Night, $62K–$72K/yr

Pipeline Carriers, Inc. is looking for a flatbed truck driver to haul concrete pipe and construction materials on local routes out of Alvarado, TX. You'll be home every night, running Monday through Friday with some weekend flexibility.

Pay

• $62,000.00 to $72,000.00 per year, with higher earnings possible based on route, hours, and performance incentives

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, local routes, home nightly

• Start times can be as early as 4 am and shifts can run until 6 pm, depending on delivery schedules

• Some weekend availability needed

• Runs in all weather conditions

What you'll haul

• Reinforced concrete pipe, raw materials, and other products, mostly delivered to construction sites

• You'll operate a tractor-trailer rated for at least 80,000 lbs gross vehicle weight

• Loading and unloading cargo is part of the job, along with securing loads with chains, binders, and straps

Requirements

• Class A CDL, appropriate for the vehicle's weight class

• At least 2 years of experience driving with a Class A CDL

• 1 to 2 years of flatbed experience minimum

• Clean driving record

• Solid understanding of DOT rules and regulations

• Current medical examiner's card

• Must pass a background check and drug screening per company, federal, and state DOT requirements

• Comfortable with physical tasks like climbing in and out of the cab, standing, sitting for long stretches, and lifting up to 75 lbs occasionally

• Keeps accurate electronic logs and handles required paperwork (invoices, bills of lading)

• Responsible for basic truck upkeep: checking fluids, reporting mechanical issues, and keeping the truck and gear clean
