CDL-A Local Driver / Transportation Support — Home Every Night

Our company in Green Bay, WI needs a reliable CDL-A driver to handle local truck movements and lend a hand around the yard and facility. You'll run a steady Monday-to-Friday daytime schedule and sleep in your own bed every night.

What you'll do

• Drive company trucks safely between our company sites, handling local moves and swaps between transportation areas and departments

• Pick up from vendors, customers, and third-party cold storage locations, loading and securing product as needed

• Shuttle trucks and trailers to washout, repair, and service locations

• Keep the dock and yard clean, organized, and safe

• Help load and unload trucks when needed, and support other departments with transportation tasks

• Handle light vehicle upkeep like swapping windshield wipers and fitting mud flaps

• Help with inspections and registration paperwork

• Pitch in on seasonal jobs like snow removal and salting, plus other general operational tasks when driving demand is lower

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM

• Home every night, no overnight routes

• Local driving only, with a predictable daytime routine

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A; experience with manual transmission is a plus

• Clean, safe driving history

• Prior commercial driving experience preferred

• Comfortable operating trucks and trailers in local and facility settings

• Able to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds and handle loading/unloading safely

• Punctual and dependable

• Detail-oriented with a strong safety mindset

• Able to work independently while coordinating with transportation, operations, and maintenance teams

• Flexible and willing to help with varied tasks, especially during slower periods
