About this job
CDL-A opening in Fort Wayne, IN with our company: get home every day, run a 53' dry van, and never touch the freight. You'll work shifts starting at either 6 PM or 9 PM, lasting between 8 and 14 hours, as a W-2 employee.
Pay
- $27.50 an hour, with 8 hours guaranteed daily and overtime kicking in past 50 hours a week
- Typical weekly checks land between $1,100 and $1,700, with most drivers seeing $1,300 to $1,500
- Scheduled rate increases: $28.18/hr at your 1-year mark, $29.05/hr at 2 years, $30.50/hr at 3 years
- Paid every week
Home time
- Back home daily, with a required 10-hour rest break between shifts
- Five days on each week, including 3 Saturdays a month
What you'll haul
- Dry van freight, 53 feet, fully no-touch
- You'll drive newer equipment: 2024-2025 Peterbilt 579s
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 months OTR experience or 6 months driving local with a CDL A, within the past year
- No SAP history, past or present
- Home address must be within 50 miles of Fort Wayne, IN
