CDL-A Local Delivery Truck Driver — Up To $10,000 Sign-On Bonus

Our company needs reliable CDL-A drivers in DeForest, WI to run local delivery routes, handling tractor-trailers and unloading product by hand at customer stops. You'll cover an assigned schedule delivering meat, produce, frozen items, groceries, dry goods and supplies, while building ongoing relationships with the customers on your route.

Pay

• Sign-on bonus up to $10,000

• Potential yearly earnings up to $105,000

• Pay includes productivity incentives

Home time

Most driver trainees run daily routes and get home every night.

What you'll haul

Meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods and general supplies, delivered to customer locations on your route.

Requirements

• At least 21 years old

• Must pass pre-employment testing

• Valid Class A CDL with a driving record that meets the company's insurability standards

• Enough English proficiency to talk with the public, read highway signs, respond to official requests and fill out reports

• Able to repeatedly lift, push or move freight averaging 40-60 pounds, sometimes up to 100 pounds

• Willing to work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed

Preferred, not required:

• A year of experience delivering to customers

• Six months using a hand cart or hand truck

• Six months in food and beverage work

• Two years of steady work history
