CDL-A Local Delivery Driver — Home Nightly

Our company is looking for a dependable CDL-A driver to run local delivery routes in Las Vegas, NV. You'll handle a tractor-trailer and hand-unload products like meat, produce, frozen goods, groceries and dry goods at customer stops along a set route.

What you'll haul

• Mixed grocery and foodservice products: meats, produce, frozen foods, dry goods and supplies

• Deliveries made directly to customer locations on an assigned schedule

• You'll get to know your customers and their needs as part of the route

Schedule

• Most driver trainees run daily routes and get home nightly

• Be ready to work overtime, weekends and holidays when the business needs it

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old

• Valid Class A CDL with a driving record that meets company insurability standards

• Able to pass required employment testing

• Strong enough English skills to talk with the public, read road signs, answer official questions and fill out reports

• Able to repeatedly lift, push or move loads averaging 40-60 pounds, sometimes up to 100 pounds

Preferred, not required:

• 1 year of experience delivering to customers

• 6 months working with a hand cart or hand truck

• 6 months in food and beverage work

• 2 years of steady work history
