CDL-A Load Board Driver — Choose Your Own Loads, $0.53–$0.63/mi

Our company offers a Company Load Board program that lets experienced CDL-A drivers pick their own freight instead of being assigned loads by a planner. You get to choose routes based on your preferred lanes, available hours, and home time needs.

Pay

• Base pay ranges from $0.53 to $0.63 per mile, depending on experience

• Extra $0.05 per mile mileage bonus, paid every quarter

• Extra per-mile pay on qualifying hazmat loads

• $16 per hour detention pay starts after a 2-hour wait

• $25 short-haul pay plus mileage for runs under 100 miles

• $30 for every additional stop beyond the first

• $75 per day if your truck breaks down

• $100 bonus for working on an observed holiday

• Optional per diem pay

Home time

Drivers who hit mileage targets and live in an eligible market may qualify for weekly home time.

What you'll haul

Freight is 100% no-touch, and about two-thirds of loads are preloaded or drop-and-hook at delivery. Average weekly mileage runs around 3,000 miles.

How it works

There's no forced dispatch and no slip seating — you select your own loads from what's available on the load board, giving you more say over your schedule and lanes.
