Local CDL-A Delivery Driver — $31.62–$43.99/hr

Our company is hiring a CDL-A Delivery Driver in Oklahoma City, OK for local routes delivering foodservice products. This is 100% touch freight, with early morning start times and a five-day workweek.

Pay

• Starting pay of $31.62 per hour plus component pay based on cases, mileage, or stops

• Top earners make up to $43.99 per hour

• Annual earnings typically range from $65,769.60 to about $91,500, assuming 2,080 hours worked per year

Schedule

• Generally five days per week, Monday through Saturday

• Shifts begin between 3 AM and 7 AM

What you'll do

• Drive safely on highways and city streets, including backing into tight loading docks

• Hand-unload freight using a two-wheeler, ramp, or by hand and place it in designated storage

• Get delivery confirmations and signatures from customers

• Deliver strong customer service on every stop

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

• Manage collections and payments where needed

• Handle other duties as assigned

Physical demands

• Repeatedly lift, carry, push, or pull loads from 20 to over 80 pounds each shift

• Work outdoors in all weather with frequent stops, often more than 10 per shift

• Tolerate temperatures as low as 0 degrees in multi-temp environments

• Frequently bend, kneel, twist, reach overhead, and use fine hand coordination

Requirements

• At least 21 years old

• Valid Class A CDL with required endorsements and DOT qualifications

• At least 6 months of commercial driving experience in any industry, or 3 months specifically in food or beverage delivery

• Comfortable operating a manual transmission (may be required depending on location)

• Able to read and communicate in English, including understanding road signs and completing reports

• Must register with the FMCSA Clearinghouse as required by the Department of Transportation
