About this job
Our company is hiring experienced CDL-A drivers for its Company Load Board program, where you pick your own freight instead of relying on a traditional dispatcher. You get more say over your lanes, hours and home time while running an average of 3,000 miles weekly.
Pay
- Base pay ranges from $0.53 to $0.63 per mile, depending on experience
- Extra $0.05 per mile mileage bonus, paid out quarterly
- Detention pay of $16 per hour after the first 2 hours
- $25 plus mileage pay for short hauls under 100 miles
- $30 for every additional stop beyond the first
- $75 per day if your truck breaks down
- Extra per-mile pay for qualifying hazmat loads
- $100 bonus for working a recognized holiday
- Optional per diem available
Home time
Drivers who hit mileage targets and live in an eligible market may qualify for weekly home time.
What you'll haul
Freight is 100% no-touch, and roughly two out of three loads are preloaded or drop-and-hook at delivery.
