About this job
JBS Carriers hauls livestock (cattle, hogs and poultry) along with tankers, container chassis and grain hoppers across multiple states and regions. This live haul route gets you home weekly, and no prior hog hauling experience is needed since training is provided.
Pay
- Weekly earnings of $1,500 - $1,800
- Paid wait time at $0.24 per minute, equal to $14.40 per hour

Home time
You'll be home every week.
What you'll haul
Loads are picked up and dropped off at barns. Days start very early, usually between 2am and 6am, and wrap up around 3pm or later depending on the route. Beyond driving, you'll coordinate load details with plants, dispatch and feed lots, and you're responsible for handling livestock safely and humanely.
Equipment
You'll drive brand new trucks and trailers.
Requirements
- Must be 21 or older
- CDL-A license with at least 1 year of tractor trailer experience
- Experience with 48'-53' tractor trailers required
- No hog hauling background needed - training provided
