CDL-A Linehaul Driver — Home Daily, $1,500–$2,400/wk

PDT Inc. needs a full-time CDL-A driver in Savannah, GA to run nightly linehaul routes for FedEx. You'll dispatch between 9pm and 3am and be back home during the day.

Pay

• $1,500.00 - $2,400.00 per week

• Solo rate for drivers with 0-5 months tenure: 60 CPM plus a 10 CPM safe-performance bonus, totaling 70 CPM

Home time

You run overnight PM routes and return home every day.

Schedule and routes

• Full-time, 5 or 6 days a week (6 days required during peak season)

• Nightly runs typically cover 400-600 miles, with steady work all year

• Drop and hook only, no touch freight

Requirements

• At least 21 years old

• Valid CDL Class A with a Doubles/Triples endorsement; PDT will train qualified drivers who don't yet have it, but you must get it before your first day

• Either 12 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience in the past 3 years, or 5 years of verifiable experience in the past 10 years

• No more than 2 combined tickets or accidents on your driving record over the last 3 years

• Must pass a background check, MVR review, drug and alcohol screening, and DOT physical

• Should live within about 45 minutes of Savannah, GA

What you'll do

You'll operate a commercial truck under DOT rules, keep the equipment in safe condition, provide good service, and take part in ongoing safety training.
