CDL-A Linehaul Driver — Home Daily, $1,350–$1,750/Week

PDT, Inc. needs a full-time CDL-A driver for nightly linehaul runs out of Waycross, GA, hauling drop-and-hook freight for FedEx with no touch required. You'll dispatch in the evening, run overnight, and be back home during the day.

Schedule and routes

• Work 5 or 6 days a week; Sunday shifts are required and weekend availability is preferred

• Dispatch happens between 5pm and 10pm for overnight runs

• Cover 450-500 miles per night, around 2,800 miles weekly

• Typically run one of three set routes: Marietta, Ellenwood (both near Atlanta), or a round trip to Savannah

Pay

Weekly pay ranges from $1,350.00 to $1,750.00, based on mileage rate plus tenure:

• Under 6 months: 52 CPM plus a 10 CPM safety bonus, totaling 62 CPM

• 6 to 11 months: 55 CPM plus a 10 CPM safety bonus, totaling 65 CPM

• 12+ months: 57 CPM plus a 10 CPM safety bonus, totaling 67 CPM

What you'll haul

All freight is drop-and-hook, so you won't be loading or unloading. Trucks are automatic and kept in good condition.

Requirements

• At least 21 years old

• Valid Class A CDL with a Doubles/Triples endorsement (or qualifying experience as noted below)

• Either 12 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience in the past 3 years, or 5 years of verifiable experience in the past 10 years

• No more than 2 tickets and/or accidents combined over the last 3 years

• Able to pass a background check, MVR review, drug and alcohol screening, and DOT physical

• Should live within about 45 minutes of Waycross, GA

On the job, you'll be expected to drive safely under DOT rules, keep your truck in good shape, provide solid customer service, and take part in ongoing safety training.
