CDL-A Linehaul Driver — Home Daily, $0.78/mi

Our company, a Midwest LTL carrier, is hiring a full-time CDL-A Linehaul Driver out of its Janesville, WI terminal. You'll run tractor-trailer freight overnight between terminal locations and be home every day.

Pay

• Starts at $0.78 per mile, moving up to $0.81 per mile after your first year

• Quarterly safety bonus of $250 for full-time drivers, worth up to $1,000 a year based on eligibility

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, overnight runs

• Daily home time

What you'll haul

• Tractor-trailer freight moved long-distance between Dohrn terminals

• You may need to load, unload and secure freight yourself or with dock staff, using equipment where it's available

Requirements

• Age 23 or older

• At least 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Must pass a road test given by a Dohrn driver trainer

• Must hold or obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within the required timeframe

• Only one valid CDL from your home state; license history from the past 36 months must be provided

• No DUI, OWI or reckless driving convictions in the last 5 years

• Acceptable MVR required

• Must pass a DOT physical and functional screening

• Pre-employment drug screen with a negative result required

• Clean controlled substance and alcohol record from prior employers over the past 3 years, with no refusals to test

• 10-year work history check; any employment gaps of 30+ days must be explained

• Able to read, write and do basic math in English
