About this job
Run line haul doubles for a FedEx Ground contractor between Pittsburgh and the Columbus, OH area. You'll work a 4-day week with nightly dispatch, and you're home daily after each run.
Schedule
- Full-time, 4 days a week, Friday through Monday
- Dispatch each night around 9:30pm for overnight runs
- Solo runs available, home every day
What you'll haul
- Doubles trailers running drop and hook only, no loading and no touch freight
- Day cab equipment
- You're the main point of contact with the customer or company driver at the cross dock or swap point
Pay
- Starting at $1,250.00 per week, paid by the route
Requirements
- CDL-A with a Doubles/Triples endorsement
- At least 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the last 3 years
- No more than two moving violations or accidents on your 3-year driving record
- Able to pass a background check and drug screen, and complete an employment application
- Reliable attendance, and a safety- and customer-focused attitude
- Able to see, hear, and physically operate and enter/exit a commercial vehicle
