About this job
Our company needs an experienced CDL-A line driver for evening shift doubles/triples work out of Medford, OR. You'll move tractor-trailer combinations between terminals or meet points for this regional carrier serving WA, OR, ID, NV, UT, AZ, and CA, and you'll be home nightly.
Pay
- Mileage rate of $0.67 to $0.76 per mile, with an extra $0.03 per mile when running triples.
- You're paid for every drop, hook, and chaining task, plus wait time.
- Hourly pay ranges from $28.87 to $32.64 depending on experience.
What you'll haul
- No-touch freight.
- Doubles and triples combinations between terminals.
Schedule
- Evening shift.
- Weekend and night availability may be required.
- Home nightly.
Requirements
- Minimum age 21.
- Class A CDL with Hazmat, Tanker, and Double/Triples endorsements.
- At least one year of verifiable commercial driving experience with comparable equipment.
- Doubles/triples and chaining experience preferred but not mandatory.
- Current DOT medical card.
- Clean driving record: no DUI, reckless driving, or failed drug/alcohol test in the past 3 years.
- Able to communicate clearly with customers, coworkers, and dispatch/management.
- Basic English reading, writing, and speaking skills.
- Must be willing and able to chain up and drive in rough weather and road conditions.
- Must meet the company's attendance and reliability expectations.
