CDL-A Lead Truck Driver — Home Daily — Average $89,440/yr + $7,500 Sign Bonus

Penske Logistics is looking for a full-time Lead Class A CDL driver in Stevens Point, WI to handle multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to retail stores and help support daily driver operations. You'll be home every day on a Monday through Friday schedule.

Pay

• Average annual earnings of $89,440

• $7,500 sign-on bonus

• Referral bonus program, up to $5,000 for each driver you bring on

Schedule

• Monday to Friday

• Dispatch time is 7:30 PM

• About 60 hours per week

• Home daily

What you'll do

• Help coordinate daily operations and support driver coverage

• Deliver parts and supplies to retail store locations on multi-stop routes

• Unload freight by hand using pallet jacks, hand trucks and rolling cages

• Scan items as they come off the trailer

Equipment

• Late-model trucks maintained by Penske

• High-end specs built for driver comfort and safety

• Inward- and outward-facing cameras in the cab

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL, and you must live in the U.S. and be licensed in your state of residence

• Hazmat endorsement needed within 90 days of being hired

• Must hold or be able to get a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card

• At least 1 year of tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years, or 2 years in the last 5 years

• No more than two moving violations or accidents on your 3-year driving record

• Able to read and speak English to meet federal DOT requirements

• Must pass a background check (employment, education, criminal history) and a drug screen

• Able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs, and to safely get in and out of the cab and cargo area
