CDL-A Intermodal Driver — Home Weekly, $1,300–$1,600/wk

Schneider is hiring a Company Driver for intermodal runs based out of Mount Vernon, IL, with home time every week. This posting is being advertised through our company on Schneider's behalf.

Pay

• Average weekly earnings reported between $1,300 and $1,600, though actual pay comes from a mix of mileage pay, load pay, and hourly pay for on-duty, non-driving time.

• A yearly longevity bonus equal to 3% of your gross annual pay.

• A $7,500 sign-on bonus for experienced drivers, paid out over 12 monthly installments during your first year.

• Orientation is paid.

Home time

Drivers are home on a weekly basis.

What you'll haul

• Shipping containers mounted on company-owned chassis.

• Freight is entirely no-touch, with about three-quarters being drop-and-hook.

• Routes run to and from rail yards located within 350 miles of Edwardsville, IL.

Requirements

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL.

• Tanker and HazMat endorsements are a strong plus, though not mandatory.

• You'll need to live within 100 miles of Edwardsville, IL.
