CDL-A Hotshot Flatbed Driver — Starting at $60,000/Year

Our company, a family-owned hotshot trucking company in Pampa, Texas, is hiring a CDL Class A driver to haul freight with a heavy-duty pickup and a 32-foot gooseneck flatbed trailer. This is a full-time role with pay starting at $60,000 a year.

Pay

• Starting salary: $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications

Schedule

• Full-time, with availability needed seven days a week

• Actual hours and days off depend on freight schedules and DOT hours-of-service rules

What you'll haul

• Freight, equipment, and commercial loads on a 32-foot gooseneck flatbed trailer

Requirements

• Must be at least 23 years old

• Valid Class A CDL

• Clean motor vehicle record

• Pass a pre-employment DOT drug screening

• Current DOT medical certificate

• Experience hauling with a truck and gooseneck trailer

• Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations

• Experience with freight load boards like LoadPort or Commtrex preferred

• Willing to travel and stay overnight as needed

What you'll do

• Operate company equipment safely

• Secure cargo with straps, chains, and binders

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections

• Keep accurate logs and paperwork

• Communicate with dispatchers, brokers, and customers

• Help locate and coordinate loads when needed

• Report maintenance concerns on company equipment
