CDL-A Hotshot Flatbed Driver — $1,700–$2,500/week

Our company is looking for an experienced Class A hotshot driver to haul flatbed freight on over-the-road routes out of the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area. You'll be trusted to get loads picked up and delivered on time while keeping everything safe and compliant.

Pay

• $1,700.00 - $2,500.00 per week

What you'll haul

• Flatbed trailers carrying freight and other specialized cargo on OTR routes

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A truck and flatbed trailer in line with FMCSA and DOT rules

• Plan routes with GPS to hit delivery windows while watching fuel use and safety

• Load, secure and unload cargo carefully to avoid damage

• Run pre-trip and post-trip inspections and flag any maintenance or safety concerns

• Keep dispatch updated on delivery status, route issues or delays

• Log driving hours, cargo info, inspections and delivery paperwork as required by FMCSA

• Follow safety procedures for manual freight handling and flatbed setups

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL with proven OTR tractor-trailer experience

• Flatbed freight experience strongly preferred

• Solid knowledge of FMCSA, DOT and hazmat/dangerous goods rules

• Comfortable using GPS tools for route planning and on-the-fly changes

• Experience loading and unloading freight using proper techniques

• Confident operating manual transmissions in different truck setups

• Strong grasp of DOT safety standards and hazard mitigation
