CDL-A Heavy Touch Truck Driver — Home Daily, $28.00/hr

Our company is looking for a Class A driver in Coppell, TX to run routes in the surrounding areas and be home every day. This is a heavy-touch role hauling medical supplies in a straight truck or dry van, with weekly pay and paid training.

Pay

• $28.00 per hour, paid weekly

• 50+ hours per week

• Monday through Friday

• Start times vary

• Home daily, running in the surrounding areas

What you'll haul

• Medical supplies that require heavy touch handling

• Equipment includes straight trucks, dry vans, pallet jacks and stair walkers

• Loading and unloading freight is part of the job

• A TWIC card is preferred but not required; our company will reimburse the cost if you get one

Requirements

• At least 21 years old

• Valid Class A CDL with the right endorsements for this role

• Verifiable tractor-trailer experience: 9 months in the last 3 years, OR 2 years in the last 5 years, OR 5 years in the last 10 years

• Must pass a our company drug test, background check, motor vehicle check, DOT physical and road test

• Previous employer drug and alcohol verification covering the last 3 years

• Able to follow instructions and apply relevant laws, rules and procedures

• Some assignments may require added screening such as employment or education checks, badging, or customer-specific background requirements

What you'll do

• Follow federal, state and company safety rules and standards

• Spot and reduce safety risks on the job

• Keep accurate logs and records

• Help load and unload freight when the customer requires it

• Take on other duties as needed
