CDL-A HazMat Driver/Operator — $31.22/hr Starting

Our company needs a Driver/Operator in Winnemucca, NV to haul explosives and other materials to customers and keep magazine site operations running. The job splits roughly evenly between time behind the wheel and time on-site, and it's a full-time position with regular overtime hours.

Pay

• Starts at $31.22 per hour

• Plan on 10-20% overtime on top of your base hours

• Full-time, at least 40 hours per week guaranteed

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts

• You'll occasionally be out overnight

What you'll haul and do

• Deliver HazMat loads to customers across Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, New Mexico and Arizona

• Provide tailgate service, helping customers load and unload product on site

• Keep magazine inventory organized, stage customer orders, and cover daily shipping and receiving tasks

• Perform upkeep on the magazine facility and the mobile equipment

• Support seasoned blasters during blasting jobs

• Work within ATF, DOT, MSHA and OSHA rules

Requirements

• Class A CDL with a HazMat endorsement, or willing to get one

• Tanker and doubles endorsements needed, either already held or earned within your first 3 months

• At least 21 years old

• Clean record with no felony history

• Able to handle loads up to 55 lbs for extended periods, with occasional lifts up to 100 lbs

• Fine working outside through different weather and temperatures

• Must clear a background check plus drug and alcohol testing, including random and post-accident screens

• No background in explosives needed going in; the company trains you
