CDL-A Fuel Transport Driver — Hazmat & Tanker

Our company is hiring a CDL-A fuel transport driver in Midland, TX to haul fuel between terminals, facilities, and customer locations. You'll need to relocate to Midland before starting.

What you'll haul

• Fuel, delivered to terminals, stores, and wholesale or retail customer tanks

• Loading and unloading done according to company and terminal hazmat guidelines

Schedule

• Full-time, company driver position

• Local route

• Must be available for day, night, and overnight shifts

What the job involves

• Pre-trip and post-trip inspections on your truck and trailer, with any mechanical problems reported right away

• Keeping accurate electronic and paper logs, delivery tickets, and bills of lading

• Logging load details electronically at pickup and delivery

• Staying in touch with logistics and field management about customer issues or safety concerns

• Responding to or reporting fuel spills promptly

• Keeping your truck and trailer clean

• Following DOT, EPA, OSHA, and FMCSA rules at all times

Requirements

• Class A CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements (doubles endorsement where the operation requires it; hazmat not required for DEF transport drivers)

• At least one year of experience driving a combination vehicle

• No more than two moving violations in the past three years

• Current DOT medical certificate

• Terminal access credentials and government ID (such as a TWIC card) where needed

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Comfortable working independently, solving problems on the road, and keeping a strong customer service mindset

• Able to drive a manual transmission
