About this job
Our company is hiring full-time, long-term OTR drivers to haul food-grade tank trailers out of Bakersfield, CA. You get a dedicated newer Peterbilt sleeper, and you should expect to be out on the road for 10 to 14 days at a stretch.
Pay
- Starts at $0.60 per mile, paid on every mile you drive
- The company says its average OTR driver makes $88,000 to $108,000 a year
What you'll do
- Haul food-grade tanker loads, with typical delivery runs of 2 to 3 days
- Keep your ELD logs on the company-issued device and use the FMCSA Ag Exemption safely
- Operate your assigned late-model Peterbilt sleeper tractor
Requirements
- Class A CDL with a tanker endorsement
- At least 22 years of age
- 1 year of over-the-road experience and/or 1 year of local tanker experience
- A 3-year MVR showing no DUI convictions
