CDL-A Flatbed Truck Driver — 80¢ Per Mile

Our company is hiring an experienced CDL-A flatbed driver to haul freight in a tractor-trailer on local and over-the-road runs. You will plan routes, secure cargo and stay within FMCSA and DOT rules.

Pay

• 80 cents per mile, paid on both loaded and empty miles

• $100 extra on tarp loads

• $200 extra on specialized loads

• Drivers typically make $2,800-$3,500 a week

What you'll do

• Drive assigned routes and delivery schedules

• Check your truck and equipment before and during runs and report anything that could affect a safe delivery

• Load, unload and tie down freight

• Tarp some loads (you get paid extra for those)

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A and a safe driving record

• Meet the licensing and medical standards that apply

• At least one year on flatbed or step deck

• Know how to secure freight with chains and straps
