CDL-A Dedicated Lane Driver, Laredo TX — $0.70 CPM, Home Weekly

This is a company driver job on a dedicated lane starting out of Laredo, TX. Loads of auto parts run up to three set plants in Tennessee, Illinois and/or Mississippi, and you come back to Laredo with racks. It is described as a hybrid/floater role, so your deliveries rotate among those plants.

Pay

• Base rate is .70 CPM, which comes to about $1,750 a week on an average of 2,500 miles.

• A performance bonus of up to .04 CPM is paid weekly, worth about $100 a week.

• Payroll is weekly, and you are paid for every mile, loaded or empty.

Home time and freight

• You are home weekly for your 34-hour reset, which you take on the return trip with the racks.

• All freight is no-touch: drop and hook, or live load and unload.

Equipment

• 2023 to 2025 Peterbilt 579 sleepers with 12-speed automatic transmissions.

Requirements

• CDL-A.

• Either 3 months of OTR experience or 6 months of local CDL-A experience within the past year.

• You cannot be enrolled in the SAP (Substance Abuse Program).

• The application asks whether you live within 50 miles of Irving, TX.
