CDL-A Flatbed Truck Driver — $80,000–$100,000/yr

Our company needs a company CDL-A driver in the Freeport, Houston and Beaumont, Texas area. You will run a tractor-trailer on local and over-the-road trips, with flatbed or step deck loads depending on the job. Trips go out and come back rather than keeping you away for weeks.

Pay

• $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Routes and equipment

• Work comes from long-term contracts, and some data center jobs are coming up

• Lanes running right now: West Texas, North Carolina, Houston to Freeport, and Louisiana

• You would drive a newer Peterbilt 389 sleeper

• You can park the truck near your home

• Trips are there and back, never 30 days out

What you'll do

• Drive safely on route and OTR assignments, using a manual transmission when the job calls for it

• Pick up, secure, haul and deliver freight

• Check your equipment, report problems, and keep accurate delivery and trip records

• Use GPS to plan and follow your route

Requirements

• A valid CDL Class A

• Able to meet the applicable DOT and FMCSA rules

• 2 years of safe commercial driving

• Willing to follow instructions

• Delivery and flatbed experience is preferred; knowing GPS, manual transmissions and loading and unloading cargo helps
