About this job
Our company has an opening for a Class A CDL driver on a local shuttle run out of Bensalem, PA, with a guaranteed trip back home every day. You'd run solo between Hauppauge, VA and York, PA, moving steel on flatbed trailers and strapping down your own loads. No overnight stays, strong weekly pay.
Pay
- Each trip pays between $270 and $600
- Checks come weekly, and most drivers clear $1800 or more per week
- Training is paid
Home time
- Work runs Sunday to Thursday
- Shifts begin near 10:00 pm
- You're back home every day
What you'll haul
- Steel freight, and you'll be responsible for securing it yourself
- 45-foot and 48-foot flatbed trailers
- A day cab tractor no older than 36 months
Requirements
- You must be 21 or older
- Able to pass a DOT physical along with drug, background, and motor vehicle record screening
- Must clear a road test given by our company
- A current Class A CDL with the right endorsements is required
- Documented tractor-trailer time: either 9 months within the last 3 years, 2 years within the last 5, or 5 years within the last 10
