CDL-A Flatbed Driver — Home Daily, $26–$30/hr

Our company in Easton, PA needs a Class A CDL driver to haul flatbed, rollback and covered-trailer loads, mostly metals and equipment, with drivers home daily aside from occasional exceptions.

Pay

• $26.00 - $30.00 per hour

• Expect 40 to 60 hours a week

Home time

• Home daily, with a few minor exceptions

• Some travel required, about 25% of the time

What you'll haul

• Flatbeds, rollbacks and covered trailers

• Mostly miscellaneous metals and equipment

• You'll secure loads yourself, including strapping down flatbed freight

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL with at least 1 year of truck driving experience

• Comfortable operating tractor-trailers, flatbeds, rollbacks or landoll trailers

• Able to drive a manual transmission (stick shift)

• Know how to use GPS for route planning on longer hauls

• Understand DOT and FMCSA rules; hazmat knowledge is a plus

• Able to load and unload freight by hand and keep accurate driving and delivery logs

• Must pass a pre-employment drug test
