CDL-A Flatbed Driver — $5,000 Hiring Bonus, Top Earners $98K

Our company is hiring CDL-A drivers for its flatbed fleet, hauling oversized air conditioner units round-trip. No flatbed background required, since orientation includes extra training to get you road-ready.

Pay

• Starting rate: $0.64 per mile

• Average yearly earnings: $88K

• Top performers earn $98K a year

• $1,000 orientation pay on your first dispatch

• $5,000 hiring bonus, paid out monthly

• $30 per stop pay, plus $25 per stop for securement and $50 per stop for tarping

• Over-dimensional pay ranges $75-$200 depending on mileage, with $400 for loads over 64K pounds

• $100 per loaded border crossing if you choose Canadian runs

• Paid weekly

• $3,000 bonus for referring other drivers

Home time

Expect to be out 7-10 days at a stretch, depending on your location.

What you'll haul

Steady, consistent freight on flatbed trailers, mainly oversized air conditioner units moving round-trip.

Equipment

• Trucks average 16 months old, with none older than 3 years

• Volvo 860 and Freightliner Cascadia models, featuring refrigerators, leather seating, double curtain wrap, double bunks and built-in inverters

Requirements

• Minimum age 22

• Valid Class A CDL

• Clean driving record and steady work history
