About this job
Our company in Elko, NV 89801 needs a Driver/Operator to haul and help produce explosives-related products used in quarry, construction and mining work. The role is a mix of driving and plant duties, roughly half and half, on 10-hour shifts Monday through Thursday with occasional overtime.
Pay
- Starts at $33.73 per hour
What you'll do
- Operate bulk manufacturing modules that produce emulsion products
- Produce bagged ANFO and prep finished goods for shipment
- Load trucks with product and unload raw materials into storage tanks
- Load trailers and handle the related shipping paperwork
- Perform basic upkeep on trucks and equipment
- Reposition vehicles around the site as needed
- Track production, loading and maintenance activity with accurate records
Requirements
- Class A CDL with a Hazmat endorsement
- At least 21 years old
- Clean record with no felony convictions
- Able to pass background checks, drug and alcohol screening, and random/post-accident testing
- No background in explosives needed — training is provided
